A brother of ours from Qatar sent a message containing a group of questions. He says: A.S.B. from Doha, Qatar.
Our brother says that he is often affected by many incidents, or whispers, or doubts.
About matters of divorce, zihar, wudu, and prayer, and he hopes that the honorable sheikh will kindly guide him.
There is no doubt that this is from the shaytan.
Because Allah, Verheven en Hoog is Hij, says: And if a suggestion from shaytan comes to you, seek refuge with Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. And He, de Verhevene, says: Indeed, shaytan is an enemy to you.
Rather, the one with might is. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind.
Lord of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the hearts of mankind, from among jinn and mankind.
You must fight these whispers in all situations: in wudu, in ghusl, in dealings, and in everything.
You must fight them because they are from the enemy, the enemy of Allah.
Be consistent in resisting them, and seek refuge with Allah from Shaytan.
And submit to Allah in the moment, and continue with your actions without paying attention to these.
When you make wudu, know that you have made wudu and finished. And so on.
Know that you. except.
And this is for prayer, and this. situations.
Know that you are determined, and that all these whispers that come to your mind are from the shaytan.
Ignore them and do not pay attention to them, this is what you must do.
So that you honor the enemy of Allah, and so you can be at ease from him, and see his face turned away from you.
If he sees that you are soft in accepting his whispers, he will become greedy for you and increase his whispers, but if he sees strength and resistance from you, he will stop hoping.
And this is how it should be, even during prayer.
If whispers come to you in prayer and disturb you, blow lightly to your left three times and say: I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, three times.
In this way, you are safe from the enemy of Allah. The Prophet ﷺ guided the sahaba to this.
Except that Allah, indeed Satan has confused him.
If he seeks refuge with Allah from Satan, Allah will protect him.
