Excuse me, Sheikh, this is a message from the questioner Sh. S. from Riyadh, she says.
She reminds you, Sheikh, that she is a woman approaching thirty.
She graduated from university a long time ago, and her father refuses the idea of marriage.
Because of the job, as she says. And her father. Yes, and her father refuses the idea of marriage.
Hoping for the job, which she says she has not been able to get for a long time.
She says that she turns to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and makes du'a to Him to grant her a righteous husband.
And I pray to Allah after every prayer, especially in the last third of the night.
What increased my sorrow and pain is that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has not answered my du'a, and has not granted me the wish I hoped for.
Every girl says, remember, and I always think that maybe I am asking for something that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, did not decree for me in the first place.
So is this reminder permissible? And at the end of my message, I ask you, honorable sheikh, to make du'a for me, may you be rewarded.
We ask Allah the Almighty. for a righteous wife.
And we advise you to ask Allah, Verheven en Hoog is Hij, to grant you a righteous wife, tranquility, and greetings.
And with the people of inclination, strive for the people of generosity, and do not get angry or despair.
Ask Allah to grant you a righteous husband.
And that He helps you fulfill the rights of marriage, and expect good, if Allah wills, expect good, and it is obligatory for your father to help you with that.
It is obligatory for the servant to have taqwa of Allah and to seek a righteous spouse.
And that he is not distracted by worldly matters from marrying you.
He must strive to perfect it, and Allah will suffice him without his job or his salary.
And you are neither in my land nor in.
It could be that the lack of response, it could be that the lack of response is due to his sins, he may have sins.
So hold on to it, have taqwa of Allah, and be with Allah, hold yourself accountable.
The testimony has been established in virtues.
Will my hours be spent with your parents?
in other sins.
Repent to Allah for your shortcomings in sins, and be hopeful for good. Allah will answer your supplication and grant you a righteous spouse if you are sincere and devoted in your du'a.
And being distant is among the reasons for being deprived due to sins and misdeeds.
Is there any advice for fathers, noble sheikh? Fathers must have taqwa of Allah. Yes, we advise all fathers, grandfathers, and all guardians. We advise them to have taqwa of Allah and to marry off those under their care.
And some prevent this because of money and wealth, but they are required to marry them off out of concern for their protection and well-being.
We ask Allah to grant guidance and success to everyone. O Allah, ameen. May Allah reward you with good.
