Women wash women, and it is not allowed for a man to wash a woman except her husband.

He may wash her and she may wash him, but other than the spouses, it is not allowed for women to wash men nor for men to wash women.

Women may pray over her, there is nothing preventing that before burial, after they wash and shroud her and so on, there is nothing preventing them from praying over her.

There is nothing preventing it, but it is better that the prayer is performed once, this is the principle, one prayer, but if it was not possible.
