May Allah reward you with goodness and be kind to you. From the Eastern Province, a message signed by one of the listening sisters, she says Umm Hanan, Umm Hanan says.
I read in one of the booklets that a woman's hijab does not have to be an abaya or a cape.
Rather, what matters is that it meets the conditions of the proper Islamic hijab.
And, praise be to Allah, I am a committed woman, and my hijab is a very loose cape.
And a long, thick scarf, a face cover, gloves, and socks.
But, honorable Sheikh, I read another fatwa that says it is not allowed for the hijab to be on the shoulders as is the case with the cape.
Is it haram to wrap it like that, knowing that it is loose, not attention-grabbing, and its general appearance is modest, and all praise is due to Allah?
What is required for hijab is that a woman prays while covered, except for the face and hands.
The sunnah is for the face to be uncovered, and covering the hands is better and more cautious.
As for the rest, it must be covered during prayer.
Outside of prayer, she needs to be around men.
She wears clothing that does not resemble that of the disbelievers, nor does it resemble men's clothing; her clothes should be like this.
Covering her and concealing her from men, but she does not wear it.
There should be no resemblance to the disbelievers, to the disbelievers, nor any resemblance to men.
If the disbeliever's clothing does not resemble that of the disbelievers, nor that of women, then there is no problem.
If it does not, there is no resemblance.
And they do not imitate men, and it covers, then there is no problem. It is forbidden for a woman to wear clothing that does not cover.
Do not drink with the right hand. and do not drink anything impure.
