If a believing woman dies without having married, what will be her fate in Paradise?
Because if a believing woman dies and she has a husband.
She will be given the choice, so she will be with her husband. If she had two husbands, she will choose between them. As for the one who did not marry, if she did not marry, then Allah will provide her with a husband.
We have created them in a special creation and made them virgins, loving and of equal age.
He will make her a wife to one of the people of Paradise.
But you might say to me: Don’t we say in the funeral prayer du'a, “Replace her with a husband better than her husband?” This is a problem.
This supplication is problematic, because if she was married.
How can you say: O Allah, give her a husband better than her husband?
And if she was not married, then where is her husband?
Is the issue clear? The answer to this is to say: Give her a husband better than her husband if she was not married.
What is meant is better than the husband that was destined for her if she had remained.
But if she was married, what is meant by better than her husband is better than him in qualities in this world.
Because substitution can be by changing the actual entities.
Like if you sold a sheep for a camel, for example.
And it can be by changing the attributes.
Like if you said: Allah decreed the disbelief of this man to be replaced with faith.
And as in His, the Exalted's, saying: The Day when the earth will be replaced by another earth and the heavens, yet the earth is still the earth.
