Okay, if a woman works, takes from her salary, spends on herself, her children, and her house, does she get rewarded for that?

There is no doubt that she is rewarded for what she intends for Allah, and for this the Prophet ﷺ.

says even the morsel a man puts in his wife's mouth, and when a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said.

O Messenger of Allah, I have a dinar, should I give it in charity? He said: Give it to your wife. He said: I have another. He said: To your child. He said: I have another. He said: To your brother. And so on.

The closer the person is to you, the greater the reward for charity given to them.
