There is jurisprudence of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq in the books of the Sunnis and the books of the Shi'a for academic research.
Does Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq have unique positions in jurisprudence compared to other scholars?
I don't know, by Allah, but Ja'far.
Ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, known as Ja'far al-Sadiq, may Allah be pleased with him and his forefathers.
Yes, he is among the scholars of jurisprudence and there are many narrations from him in the books of jurisprudence.
In al-Mughni, in al-Tamhid, in al-Majmu', the books that focused on transmitting the statements of the scholars on issues, in al-Awsat by Ibn al-Mundhir.
Many statements are transmitted from Ja'far, and he is one of the scholars of fiqh among the Muslims, but he has his own fiqh school.
But like the school of Ahmad or the school of Malik, no, there isn't.
He has a fiqh school, meaning like, like others, like Sufyan al-Thawri, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah, al-Tabari, Ibn al-Mundhir, al-Awza'i.
These are great scholars, but they do not have followers such that they became a distinct fiqh school, and the same goes for Ja'far.
May Allah have mercy on him, he did not have his own independent fiqh school, but he has fiqh opinions scattered throughout his books.
The scholars, but collecting them requires effort.
A person reads in the books of fiqh, especially those that mention the chains of narration, like
Al-Musannaf by Abd al-Razzaq, Al-Musannaf by Ibn Abi Shaybah, Sunan Sa'id ibn Mansur, Sunan Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi, and other books that focused on transmitting
the statements of the scholars, he will find great benefit regarding Ja'far and others, may Allah the Blessed and Exalted have mercy on him.
