When they believed their son was afflicted by the evil eye, they would wash and wipe the doors of the houses or the steps at the entrance of the house.
From those they suspected—Is this practice permissible or not? This is false, this is false and has no basis. What is prescribed is only if it is known that the evil eye came from a certain person.
Or if it is thought that someone is the envier, he is told: wash yourself, so-and-so. If he washes his face and hands and puts it in a container and pours it over.
Yes, by Allah. the steps and the ground.
All of this in this era. His family invited him to a feast.
People do this, then after that they take the leftovers of drinks and wash the patient with it. All of this has no basis. What is prescribed is that the one who gave the evil eye or the wrongdoer is asked to wash himself.
As the Prophet ﷺ commanded to do that.
So if he washes his face and rinses his mouth, or washes his face and arms, the inside of his lower garment and his feet, all of this.
Allah benefits him with it, and he is patient with it. If he does not think it is revelation, he is patient with it, and Allah benefits him with that, Allah benefits him with that.
A questioner says: Some reciters advise those who are treated by them for the evil eye.
To take a wet towel and wipe certain places with it. Is there any basis for this?
No, this is not part of the treatment. The treatment is to take what. is accused.
That is, Allah, his face and hands in business, seeking its absence, Allah benefits him with that. The Prophet said: If you wake up, wash, and if he washes his face and rinses his mouth.
He hopes for this.
As for wiping dust in the middle of the roads, this leads to impurities and filth, this is not allowed.
This is a brother complaining, he says: May Allah be good to you, O noble Sheikh, I have been afflicted by the evil eye, and this has led to me not being able to get up for the fajr prayer, or that I.
I get up and go to the bathroom and sleep there for up to thirty or forty minutes, and when I wake up, the prayer has passed me in the mosque or the sun has risen.
I feel that the time has been lost from me and I do not know the solution or the treatment, so advise me, O noble Sheikh.
You should be optimistic about the light.
And do not stay up late, and you should ask your Lord for help with this affliction. Ask, plead to Allah. Allah says: Call upon Me, I will answer you. Ask your Lord, indeed Allah.
will help you with this illness and heal you from it. And you should not stay up late, go to bed early so you get your share of sleep, and there is no harm in consulting some doctors.
Specialists, perhaps they have a medicine for this, to remove what has afflicted him in this matter. Perhaps they have a medicine. Servants of Allah, seek treatment, but do not seek treatment with what is haram, as mentioned in the hadith.
Things. Consult specialists, ask them about this illness, ask your Lord for well-being, plead to Allah, ask Him for healing, be optimistic about sleep so that he does not.
continue to have double the weakness in the Fajr prayer. No, no, he must go to bed early so he can get up for Fajr prayer, so he can pray with the Muslims in the mosques.
There is no power and no strength except with Allah. This is a questioner saying, noble Sheikh.
In the case of someone who is feared to be afflicted by the evil eye, is it enough to use only the last two chapters for protection in such a case?
Yes.
If the envious person has not recited, say: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every envious eye.
If he says: I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed devil, say: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every envious eye, whether it is one person or a group.
This questioner says, noble Sheikh: How do we protect children from the evil eye, may Allah preserve you?
You say. with the words.
And continue with: With the complete words of Allah, from the evil of what He created, whether at bedtime, during the day, or at any time.
Seek refuge in Allah.
And your eye as a group, and your protection is with the complete words of Allah from every devil and poisonous creature and from every envious eye.
Honorable Sheikh, may Allah protect you, the questioner says: Does the evil eye, meaning envy, have types? Meaning, is there an eye that harms the affected person severely, and an eye that causes only minor harm?
Where is the truth? Where is the truth? If anything could precede destiny, it would be the evil eye.
The evil eye can affect some people, and it's not by a person's choice. It may happen that when he sees something he likes, the evil eye affects it.
The tongue seeks refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created, morning and evening, three times.
This is one of the means of protection, and I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
He prays them three times. Didn't he find protection? And he says: In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the earth or in the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, three times.
Morning and evening. and the evil eye is real, it may.
It comes from a person without his choice, when he sees something he likes in someone's qualities or his wealth or other things, it happens to him.
May Allah protect you. You ask, at the time of affliction, O honorable Shaykh, for the treatment of the evil eye, is it sufficient to use ruqyah or is it necessary to wash with the water of the one who caused it?
Ruqyah is a treatment. a treatment, as made easy by the verse.
What is meant is that he washes his face and makes wudu, and washes the inside. and the ends of his feet. This is beneficial, and it is poured over the patient.
This does not benefit him before Allah.
And if he washes his face, rinses his mouth, and sniffs water, it will benefit by Allah's permission.
What is meant. the face. and the inside. this.
This ends with the one who repeats it.
We have experienced that washing the face, rinsing the mouth, and washing the hands alone is enough to remove the defect.
If a person kills with this, then washes his face and hands, performs wudu, and pours it over the sick person, he will be cured by Allah's permission.
May Allah protect you, noble Shaykh. Is it permissible to make du'a against such a person who gives the evil eye? And if someone makes du'a against him, is that considered objecting to Allah's decree and predestination?
He says: O Allah, forgive me. O Allah, forgive me. because the evil eye is not by choice.
He looks without choosing, not by his will. He says: O Allah, protect me from his evil.
And when a person fears the evil eye, he says: O Allah, bless so-and-so.
He advises you: What Allah wills, there is no power except with Allah, so that the evil eye is extinguished.
If he fears his own eye, he says: May Allah bless him, what Allah wills, this is one of the reasons for safety.
This questioner says, noble Shaykh: How can a person protect himself from magic before it happens, and what is the remedy for that? May you be rewarded.
Because it is prescribed for every Muslim to protect himself from evil.
Through acts of worship that are legislated, but Allah has legislated them for His servants.
Magic. This is clear, we seek refuge with Allah.
Among them is: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
Also, in the morning and evening, among them is his saying: In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm.
On earth or in the sky, and He is the All-Hearing. Three times in the morning and evening, all of this is among the reasons for well-being.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and among them is reciting Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer.
And at bedtime, these are among the reasons for well-being and safety.
Among these is reciting "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" and the two chapters of seeking refuge.
In the morning and evening, three times, we ask for well-being from all evil.
And reciting these three chapters at bedtime, blowing into the hands at bedtime, and wiping over the head, face, and chest.
All of this is among the reasons for well-being from every harm, and likewise the rest of the du'a: O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter.
