How is the fasting of Ashura, and how is the fasting of the days of the Prophet's migration?
And is it permissible to fast on the tenth day? Please clarify this, thank you. As for fasting Ashura, the sunnah is for a person to fast on the tenth of Muharram.
And to add to it a day before and a day after.
And the best is then the ninth along with the tenth.
Because the Prophet ﷺ said: If I live until next year, I will fast the ninth.
And because it was narrated from him, peace be upon him, that he said: Differ from the Jews.
Fast a day before it or a day after it.
The sunnah for the believer is to fast both the ninth and the tenth, or to fast the tenth along with the eleventh.
I advise all of you to fast the ninth, the tenth, and the eleventh.
All of this is to differ from the Jews.
A people whom you oppose.
Because we are commanded to differ from the enemies of Allah, from the People of the Book and from other disbelievers.
As for the days of the migration. the Prophet ﷺ during the days of the migration.
Not the first day nor any other.
And likewise the day of Badr.
And all the days of the confederates were victories, and so was the day of the conquest, all of them.
Allah, the Exalted, did not do anything.
Even though He prescribed fasting for us.
If they knew it, it is on Thursday.
He will return every month, and if he fasts on the white days, that is better.
A car, then a phone after Ramadan, all these are recommended matters.
As for those days, he should not break his fast, rather he should complete them if he intended that.
