He says: How do we reconcile between the forbidden announcement of death.
And between what happened when the Prophet ﷺ was sitting, and a funeral passed by and they spoke well of the deceased, so he said: It is due.
Then another funeral passed by and they spoke badly of the deceased, so he said.
It is due. What is meant by praise here is that they mentioned him with good, that's all.
Yes, he was a good man, may Allah have mercy on him, or we are relieved of him.
May Allah disgrace him, like that. This is the one who was praised, and not the announcement where they list.
His virtues. The forbidden obituary is when someone sits and lists his virtues.
So-and-so built this mosque and that mosque and another mosque, so-and-so became this minister and that minister and another minister, so-and-so did this and that. Is that clear? This is the forbidden obituary.
