How do we reconcile between His saying, the Exalted: Repel evil with what is better, and you will see that the one between you and him is enmity will become as if he were a close friend, and His saying: A believer is not bitten from the same hole twice?

That is, if someone has wronged me without persisting in it.

No, it means a believer is not bitten from the same hole twice; he is cautious.

So that he does not fall into the same trap a second time, he is careful.

But there is nothing against repelling with what is better.

This is about forgiveness, but in a way that does not harm you. You can forgive and repel with what is better.

It means if someone wrongs you, you respond with kindness, but you don't let him put you in the same trouble twice, for example. That's the point. As for "repel evil with what is better"—

This is about forgiveness and smiling in the face of your enemy, that's what it means, that's "repel with what is better."

—is better, then the one between you and him is enmity as if—

—a close friend. It means he treats you badly.

And you treat him kindly. This has nothing to do with—
