He says: Is it permissible for me to pray before the Friday prayer?
Because this time is a time when prayer is discouraged, which is just before the zenith.
On Friday, some scholars see it as an exception.
It was narrated from Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both.
That he used to pray on Friday until the imam ascended.
He would pray until he prayed. He said: And none of the sahaba objected to him.
Some of them say this is a silent consensus, meaning everyone agreed.
If his action was wrong, they would have objected to him. So we have the action of Ibn Umar and silence.
The Companions, and some scholars said: No, we have the text, the text of the Messenger ﷺ.
About prayer when the sun is at its highest point in the sky.
The Prophet ﷺ forbade that, when the Fire of Jahannam is kindled.
So they said it is not allowed. On Friday, there is no special ruling for you; other than Friday, no.
But on Friday, yes, some scholars said that it is allowed, but not for the one who comes late, rather for the one who comes early and prays before the prohibition.
Then he continues. But someone who comes at the time of prohibition, for example fifteen minutes before, no, this is a time of prohibition, you can barely pray two rak'ahs and sit. But someone who comes, for example, at ten o'clock.
He can pray until the imam ascends, for example, this is fine, there is no problem.
