Is it permissible to eat amphibious animals, especially frogs and crocodiles?
It is allowed for you, there is nothing wrong with eating, I mean.
In any case, originally there is nothing amphibious, I mean.
Animals are either land animals or sea animals.
These amphibious animals live between both sides, but in the end, they are mostly either land or
sea in the end, and what appears to be correct—and Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, knows best—is that eating crocodile is permissible.
That the crocodile is permissible to eat, but as for the frog, there is a prohibition.
Against killing it, so if they say it is not eaten for this reason.
The prohibition of killing it means it is not permissible to eat it for this reason. As for the basic rule regarding animals, and foods in general, the basic rule is permissibility.
The basic rule is permissibility except for what evidence has proven to be forbidden, and Allah knows best.
