Yes. And we find in our time, for example, that scholars all over the world confirm that the earth is spherical in shape.
And that the sun does not move, but rather it rotates around itself, remaining fixed in a certain place.
And the Quranic verses that we have seen in the Quran.
That is, contrary to that, so from this principle we could deny what these people have said.
This is the problem, O servant of Allah, the problem is understanding.
First, the Quran affirms that the earth is spherical.
Yes, it affirms that it is spherical.
Allah the Exalted said: When the sky is split open.
And listens to its Lord and it must do so, and when the earth is stretched out.
And throws out what is in it and becomes empty. When does this happen?
Is it on the Day of Judgment? The sky is split open on the Day of Judgment, as Allah the Exalted said: When the sky is split open and becomes like red oil, on that Day no human or jinn will be asked about his sin.
Is that clear? Okay.
When the earth is stretched out, it means that before that, it was not stretched out.
Is that clear? And Allah the Exalted said: He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day.
Over the night, and wrapping and turning.
And from that is wrapping the turban, its turning around the head.
So, the Quran indicates that it is spherical. That's it.
The scholars never said that the sun does not move.
They say it moves, but it moves with its group, it and its group move through this space, yes.
It is not part of the solar systems, as they say.
So it moves, but the question now is: does it move and revolve around the earth?
Or is it the earth that rotates, or is it the earth that rotates and by its rotation come night and day.
This is the point of disagreement.
Until now, I only believe that the sun.
By its movement over the earth, the alternation of night and day occurs.
Until now, I do not believe their claim that the alternation of night and day is because of the earth's rotation.
No, they just say this to cover it up, like something deceptive. We do not believe this.
Why? Because the apparent meaning of the Quran contradicts this.
For Allah, the Exalted, has attributed.
The movements of the sun are attributed to the sun.
And the basic principle in attributing an action to its doer,
is that it is an action that actually comes from him.
And this principle, if you say "Zayd stood up," then Zayd is the one who stood, no one else.
Yes. If you say "the car is moving," then the car is the one moving. Now, when a car passes by while it's stopped, it runs, it runs.
You focus, you look at the car.
Is it moving or not? It's moving behind.
They say that the sun, in relation to the earth, is stationary, and the earth is what rotates, so some people think that the sun is the one that.
moves around the earth, but we say this goes against the original understanding.
And we must hold on to the apparent meaning of the Quran until we have certain knowledge with no doubt.
That he can face the Lord of Might and Majesty with.
Otherwise, Allah says: The sun runs on its fixed course.
And the Mighty and Majestic says: You see the sun, when it rises, inclines away from their cave. This is an action.
And when it sets. Yes. You see the sun, when it rises, inclines away. This is two actions.
It rises and inclines away, and when it sets, it passes by them. These are also four actions.
Do you not understand? And the Mighty and Majestic said.
Until it disappears behind the veil.
It is concealed behind the veil.
The Prophet ﷺ said to Abu Dharr: When the sun set, do you know where it goes?
When it goes, he attributed the going to it.
All these actions are attributed in the Book and the Sunnah to the sun, so we cannot move away from that except with something certain, because only certainty can refute what is apparent.
Only certainty, for this is what we believe and hold as our religion.
Until there is evidence that allows us to interpret the apparent meaning differently, according to the requirements of that evidence.
