Another question: in the voluntary prayers and also in witr.

Do we recite the opening du'a in them?

And also seeking refuge from the four things the Messenger ﷺ commanded: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the Hellfire.

And the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the false messiah.

Or is that specific to the obligatory prayers and not the voluntary ones, and also the du'a after seeking refuge from the four?

Is it required in the voluntary prayers? May Allah grant you success and reward you with good.

The prayer for rain is prescribed for everyone, whether it is a voluntary prayer or others, such as the Duha prayer.

The Tarawih prayer, the Tahajjud prayer, after the first takbir.

Likewise, supplication at the end of the prayer, such as the supplication of the four, and other supplications, all of them are valid, all of them are prescribed.

This is how he taught us. And when he ﷺ taught him the tashahhud, he said: Then let him choose whatever supplication he likes.

And among their success is that he may choose from three whatever he wishes.

The Muslim is protected, and the Muslim as well, both are protected.

The du'a at the end of the prayer: after sending prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ, he says, O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the trial of the false messiah.

O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best way.

And likewise, the du'a, perhaps. and saying: O Allah, we. and none forgives sins except You.

Forgive for me what has passed of my sins and what is yet to come.
