Regarding the takbirs in the Eid prayer, is the opening takbir included or not? Yes, the scholars, may Allah have mercy on them, differed on the issue of the takbirs.

About their number: in the first rak'ah seven, in the second five. They differed on this: is the opening takbir included in the first count, and in the second count the takbir for rising or standing?

They differed on this in two opinions: some counted the takbir for standing and rising.

Which is the opening takbir, and likewise the rising to the second rak'ah, they counted it among the takbirs, and some did not count it. We say: both opinions are possible, but the more apparent view is that the takbir.

The takbirs do not include the opening takbir, considering that it is independent and is known in all prayers, and the basic principle is that it is not counted. And Allah knows best.
