He says, my wife asked me to shorten my beard.
Otherwise, she won't let me touch her because she doesn't like how I look with a long beard.
She wants it very short and trimmed.
And she tells me, discipline yourself before your beard.
Anyway, she says, follow all the sunnah first, then the beard, you can do that later.
Anyway, what she says is wrong, of course, and false.
He should not obey her in this, and if she says, "Don't touch me," he should go and marry another woman.
Fine, really, he marries another woman and finds someone he can touch, and all praise is due to Allah. This is mocking the sunnah of the Prophet.
ﷺ, this kind of talk is not allowed. When you say such things to him, "I don't like your beard," and so on, this is not allowed.
So he must have taqwa of Allah, and have taqwa of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted.
