You have only called us to the honor of this world and the best ending, and I have never heard words.
Sweeter and more pleasing to the ear than what I have heard. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
The Messenger of Allah says to you.
O Mus'ab, you will be harmed and face abuse.
And you are a pampered, spoiled young man, and he fears you may not endure. By Allah, I do not care, even if my throat is cut.
May Allah keep you firm in your iman, Mus'ab. InshaAllah.
Ammar. Yes, Ammar.
Listen, O family of Yasir, what is it, Ammar?
I have accepted Islam. You have accepted Islam? Yes, by Him in Whose hand is my soul, and I have followed the religion of Muhammad ibn Abdullah.
And I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Whoever says it is safe.
My son, we are strangers in Mecca.
And our family is weak, and we only get our food through hard work and effort.
Do you think our Mawali, the family of Makhzum, will leave us if they find out about you?
I do not care about the people of Makhzum or the people of Mecca.
What matters to me is to free my neck from the Fire.
And I am calling you, my mother and my father, to Islam and to the two testimonies, for by Allah, they are a salvation from the Fire.
And after that.
A garden as wide as the heavens and the earth.
We will not leave you, my son. By Allah, Quraysh has not produced anyone like the young man of Hashim, Muhammad.
I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah. And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
O Muhammad.
I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
Are you crying, Sa'id? I am crying for my father, Zayd ibn Amr, who turned away from the idols of Quraysh and their sacrifices, and wandered the earth.
After they wronged him and drove him out, he wandered searching for the religion of the Prophet of Allah, Ibrahim.
If only Allah had extended his life to this day.
He would have been the happiest of people with you, O Messenger of Allah.
May Allah keep you firm upon iman, O Sa'id.
Zayd. I am the cousin of Muhammad, O Zayd.
I have come to invite you to what my brother Ali invited you to.
Say, O Ja'far, I am listening. Islam.
And the testimony that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
My son, I would never do anything without telling your father.
Tell him, mother. Tell him.
Abu Talib would never turn you away from the religion of Allah.
I will do it, my son. I will do it, if Allah wills.
And your cousin Muhammad only came with the truth. I raised him like my own sons.
By Allah, my eyes have never seen anyone like you, Muhammad.
Ja'far.
I will declare my Islam before him.
Now. As long as I have been.
You were not a clever, beautiful, intelligent, poetic woman, Safiya, but you are his mother who raised him as an orphan in her house, and he holds all affection for you.
Ali, tell Khadija and Muhammad that we are coming to him. In fact, come in.
You are among the most beloved women in the world to his heart.
My son, Muhammad.
I have come to testify that there is no deity but Allah, I testify that Muhammad.
is the Messenger of Allah, and I also.
I testify that there is no deity but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Mother.
I have never seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Khadijah as happy as I saw them tonight.
How much we miss you, blessed one of the family of Yash. How sad I am for you, Muhammad.
Glory be to Him, He left the females and took the males. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ says to both of you.
Allah, the Exalted, gave, and Allah took.
And everything that comes from Allah is good, and we only say what pleases Allah.
The Messenger knows, my aunt. But it is the heart of an anguished aunt.
He knows that, and he said: Do not leave before you have dinner with us. So his daughters were happy with Kamal, and so was Khadijah, his wife, and she asked Kamal to stay.
Now you are sisters in faith.
This is what Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah, brought.
By Allah, it is the honor of this world and the best of the Hereafter. It is truly a good thing.
I had no news of it. Yes, by Allah, where is he so I can declare my faith before him?
Come on, come on Khabbab, let's go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Come on. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Recite in the name of your Lord who created, created man from a clinging clot.
Recite, and your Lord is the Most Generous, who taught by the pen.
He taught man what he did not know. No, indeed man transgresses.
Because he sees himself self-sufficient. Surely, to your Lord is the return.
Have you seen the one who forbids a servant when he prays?
Have you seen if he is upon guidance or commands taqwa? Have you seen if he denies and turns away?
Does he not know that Allah sees?
How beautiful and good these words are. What is this, Sa'id?
It is the word of Allah, revealed to His Messenger Muhammad ibn Abdullah.
Did you do it, Sa'id? Yes.
How much I used to wish that my father was still alive.
Until the Messenger of Allah Muhammad ﷺ is sent, O Fatima.
Come, daughter of my uncle, come. This is the true religion. What should I say, Sa'id? Say: I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah.
And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
So do not say that you call and leave your family behind. Your family has already accepted Islam: Abdullah, Asma, my wife Umm Ruman, and the young Aisha.
I invite you, brothers in Islam, to my house. It is on the outskirts of the houses of Mecca and far from the eyes of the leaders of Quraysh. And do not say that they are weak people.
This religion calls for brotherhood among people, so there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, nor of a rich person over a poor one, nor of a master over a servant, except through taqwa.
The believers are but brothers, and here we are, together with Uthman ibn Affan, from the clans of Quraysh, from Banu Taym, Banu Umayyah, Abd al-Dar, Abd al-Uzza, and Banu Adi.
And from the nobles of Mecca and its servants, and from its men and women.
The religion belongs to Allah, and it is a right for all His servants. Our matter will not remain a secret, and Quraysh has started to talk about it.
And I do not think they will remain silent about us. By Allah, if they start with us, they will see from us what will not please them. We have not been commanded to make our religion public yet, but we invite with kindness those whom you trust.
And you notice in them the scent of iman, and do not say they are weak or servants.
The believers are brothers, and I wish that no weak person or slave would remain except that he enters this religion.
What did you say about my invitation? I will speak to the Messenger of Allah about this. Amr ibn Hisham is coming, and he is sharp-tongued and harsh in nature.
Come on, disperse, let's go.
My companion, I am Mecca. Why are you listening and whispering to each other?
And when you allow me, you disperse. Did you see anything from me?
I am Abu al-Hakam, the leader of Banu Makhzum. So what have you left for al-Walid ibn al-Mughira then, who is the equal of Quraysh, O Abu al-Hakam? You want to cause discord between me and my uncle.
O son of Abu Waqqas? No, but you say so.
You are the leader of Banu Makhzum, and Quraysh sees that Walid. That is not why I came.
But I am amazed at myself. That is it, Abu al-Hakam.
Why do you gather secretly in the alleys?
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
By the fig and the olive and Mount Sinai.
And this secure city. We have certainly created man in the best form.
Then We return him to the lowest of the low.
Except for those who have iman and do righteous deeds.
For them is a reward never ending.
So what makes you deny the judgment after this?
Is Allah not the most just of judges? What is this dominance you heard, my son?
Hegemony? No, nothing, mother.
What's wrong, my son? You are not the same with me.
Where is the handsome, elegant, fragrant Mus'ab?
What's wrong? You don't care about your clothes.
And now you go back to wearing rough clothes. Where are your silk shirts and your beautiful cloaks?
I don't want any boy in Mecca to be as handsome as you, my son.
Leave this, mother. A man is not defined by his clothes and perfume. A man is defined by what is in his heart. Allow me, mother.
I don't know what has happened to you, Mus'ab. Abdullah? What's wrong, Ammar?
I can't see you, but I was looking for you, son of Umm Abd.
Omar, I ask you something, so tell me the truth. I do not permit myself to lie, nor is it right for me. I swear by the Lord of the Kaaba, is it true that a Prophet has appeared in Mecca?
And I swear by the Lord of the Kaaba, if I tell you what I know, you will deny it. Speak and do not fear.
Yes, Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, a Prophet has appeared in Mecca.
And where am I in relation to him? And what do you want, O son of Umm Abd? I want to go to him and guide him.
Come to him. Come, O Abdullah ibn Mas'ud.
Come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I see in Mecca.
There is something amazing, O Abbas. What do you see, O Abu Sufyan, that I do not see? Something is happening in Mecca. Tell me, what is it? You know, O Abbas.
You know that the leaders of Quraysh act arrogantly towards the kings.
It is an old custom, for they are the people of the sanctuary and the leaders of the Arabs.
So why do some of them change their customs, huh? Like who, Abu Sufyan? For a while now, I've noticed something that puzzles me. This is Mus'ab ibn Umair.
He meets Bilal, the Abyssinian slave, hugs him, sits with him as if they are from the same household.
And this is Abu Bakr, Atiq ibn Abi Quhafa al-Taymi, and you know his status among Banu Taym.
He meets Ammar ibn Yasir, the poor and oppressed, hugs him, sits with him, and talks with him for hours, and Abu Ubayda ibn al-Jarrah does the same.
The nobles of Quraysh have mixed with their slaves and the weak among them, and this never happened in Mecca before now, Abbas. Maybe they were just getting along.
Or maybe they consider this a way to get closer to the rest of the Arabs, since they are the people of Mecca. No, no, it's something else.
Not this, Abbas. Never mind now, Abu Sufyan, tell me, what about the journey to Yemen? It's the companionship.
We are friends, cousin, and by Allah, I am proud of your friendship. You are respected in the eyes, generous with your hand, and brave in difficult times.
The one with the loud voice in the deserts. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told us that the prayer was made obligatory as two units.
And he commanded us to make wudu. How, Ja'far? Jibril came to him while he was at the highest point of Mecca, and.
He struck the ground with his heel, and water gushed forth, then Jibril, peace be upon him, performed wudu.
And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ watched him, then Jibril prayed.
Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the prayer.
And we follow the Messenger of Allah, we make wudu and pray.
To the prayer, my brother, to the prayer. Prayer was made obligatory upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the first time it was made obligatory.
Two rak'ahs, two rak'ahs for every prayer, then Allah the Exalted completed them as four and kept them as two during travel as they were first prescribed.
And Allah made prayer obligatory upon the Muslims five times a day, and Jibril, peace be upon him, spent a day and a night teaching the Messenger.
Its times, its pillars, and its movements until he completed them as five.
And the revelation descends, flowing like a chain from a chain, and the wondrous tablet and pen have narrated.
In the tablet is the name of Muhammad. In the tablet is the name of Muhammad.
Through you, son of Abdullah, a tolerant way was established.
With truth, from the radiant paths of guidance.
The Criterion is the key to its sanctity.
And the letter "S" from its forms, and the letter "R".
And the revelation of the Quran continued.
The Noble Quran was revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
He taught it to the first Muslims and wrote it down on skins and whatever was available.
It was written by the scribes of revelation from among the sahaba, may Allah be pleased with them, and its revelation began in the month of Ramadan.
On the Night of Qadr, the month of Ramadan in which the Quran was revealed as guidance for people and clear proofs.
Of guidance and the criterion.
Indeed, We sent it down during the Night of Decree.
And how do you know what the Night of Decree is.
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend in it.
By permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
Yes, Umm Ayman.
With blessing, your nurse and your mother.
Your mother, who never loved anyone like you, has come to your house now to say to you in front of your pure wife.
I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah.
And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
Sa'id, where are you going? To Umm Ayman. I am going to her with good news, Ammar. Say it, Zayd, say it.
Say it, my brother, give us the good news. He ﷺ is the best bearer of glad tidings.
He ﷺ said: Whoever wants to marry a woman from the people of jannah, let him marry Umm Ayman.
Now that her husband has taken her, I am going to marry Baraka. That's how it is, Zayd.
Who will be blessed with a woman from the people of jannah, Ammar? May you be blessed, Zayd, may you be blessed, my brother.
That Allah is One, and that He has no partner, and that you are the Prophet of Allah.
What are these fortresses? Are they close to what I am seeking?
They are close to the land of Prophet Lut, peace be upon him.
What is the name of these homes? The origins of Khaybar. Are they close to the people of the Haram?
Be quiet, be quiet and go on your way.
O son of. this! O father.
What do you want from me, Abu al-Hakam? What news did you hear? What news?
News is spreading in Mecca, and I don't think you are unaware of it. Tell me, Abu al-Hakam. The number of those who have left the religion has increased among Quraysh.
For a long time, among Quraysh there have been weak ones and outcasts.
Those who follow the Hanif way, humble themselves, and isolate themselves in the mountains of Mecca. Quraysh used to avoid them and they avoided Quraysh. I have heard it.
Greater than this, Abu Bakr? In fact, it was said to me.
What is wrong with you, Abu al-Hakam? In Mecca, the Jew follows the religion of Musa, and the Sabian and the Hanif, and in Mecca there are Christians.
And you used to tolerate that, and all of them affirm the oneness of Allah, so what does Quraysh have to do with it, or what harm does it cause them?
But they did not ask us to remove our idols. Muhammad has deceived you, Abu Bakr. Woe to you, Ibn Hisham.
You have grown old and you are still ignorant. O brothers in faith.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ says to you: Among your brothers are those in financial hardship and in need.
So be brothers and support one another, and let the strong among you help those who have less.
And know that the food of one is enough for two.
The food of two is enough for four, and the food of four is enough for eight.
The Messenger of Allah spoke the truth. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ says to you.
Do not keep company except with a believer, and let only someone with taqwa eat your food.
Whoever has the qualities of the believers, they are those about whom the Blessed and Exalted said: those whose hearts tremble when Allah is mentioned, and when His verses are recited to them.
Their faith increases, and they put their trust in their Lord. They establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them. Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth.
Khalid, where are you, my son? To the tavern of Mecca, my boy. You love company, singing, and frequenting taverns.
And what is wrong with that? Come back to us remembering Allah. Alright, my son.
Have you hidden something from me, Khalid? No, no, sit down.
It's as if I no longer know you, and Quraysh used to set us as an example: you with your perfume and fragrance, and I with the pride of my clothes.
And Shamat bin Uthman, oh my beauty. I want to be alone with you. If it is for a drink or one of our old desires, then excuse me. I.
I am too busy for this. And why is he being advised?
It's a promise I made to myself. You are hiding something from me, there's no doubt about it. It's me, Khalid. What is it? Speak, Mus'ab.
Didn't you say you wanted to be alone with me? Yes, and away from the eyes of Quraysh.
If we say, at your place, Khalid. Welcome, welcome to you.
O Abu al-Hakam, welcome to the house of Abu Sufyan, you are most welcome. May your house and your family be blessed, O Abu Hanzala. You are always welcome here, O Abu al-Hakam.
But first, let me offer you whatever hospitality you like, and do not speak yet.
A little of the wine of Andarin is fine.
Listen, Mus'ab, I swear to you by the Lord of the Kaaba.
That whatever is discussed between us will remain a hidden secret, so do not fear anything.
No problem, go ahead, Khalid.
Muhammad. Muhammad, son of Abdullah.
What do you want from him, Khalid? You know what you are hinting at.
I want to know what he brought. This man was the symbol of amana and honor in Quraysh.
And if he brings something, then without a doubt, it is the truth. This is a man who does not.
Everything produced in Ta'if is good. Grapes and palm trees, all the fruit. Ta'if.
The garden of Quraysh. What do you say about this wine, Abu al-Hakam? I say what Amr ibn Kulthum said.
Pour into your cup and let us drink in the morning.
And do not leave any of the wine of Andarina, sparkling as if there are pearls in it.
When water is mixed with it, it becomes warm.
You have come, Abu Sufyan.
To make peace, it is not yet time for reconciliation between Makhzum and Abd Shams, for I sense a smell.
Even in Mecca, you say that there are people who want to raise their noses above Makhzum.
This is a matter.
It has consequences. Do you think I don't hear what Quraysh whispers about? Yes, I have an ear.
Sharp, and a soul.
Speak clearly, son of al-Hakam. Speak clearly, speak clearly, son of al-Hakam. Muhammad. Who is Muhammad?
He is the one spreading this among the fitna.
Quraysh comes, its nobles and its servants, and he says to them: Is this a new religion? A new religion? Perhaps it is so.
The matter is as it was in the days of Waraqah, and he will take up the matter.
Uthman ibn al-Huwayrith. And what if it is something else? Something else like what, Abu al-Hakam?
Al-Abbas. I swear Banu Hashim will not succeed in what they are working for.
Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He does not beget.
Nor is He begotten, and there is nothing comparable to Him.
What are you saying, Mus'ab? This is the word of Allah, revealed to His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ. And the Kaaba, Mus'ab, the Kaaba is the Sacred House.
And the idols, they are shirk.
They were brought by Amr ibn Luhay, the accursed, and he brought them into the Sacred House, so people got used to committing shirk with Allah.
They said, "These are our gods, we seek nearness to Allah through them."
And they have nothing to do with the religion of Ibrahim.
And our Prophet Muhammad calls to remove them and disavow them.
The religion of Muhammad calls to the oneness of Allah, the One, and to abandoning everything else.
And is there anything other than that? Yes, Khalid, yes.
People are equal: their poor and their rich, their leader and their servant. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a white over a black, except through taqwa.
Preparation. Yes, you are prepared, Abu Sufyan.
How can you go and leave your nephew? What about my nephew, Abu al-Hakam?
You ignore it, Abbas, and Mecca.
All of Mecca is talking about it. Your brother claims to be a Messenger and that revelation comes down to him.
And perhaps you have followed him. Maybe the matter is like what happened with Waraqa ibn Nawfal.
Or Zayd ibn Amr? Ah, and he leaves the religion of his fathers and grandfathers? Hold on, Abu al-Hakam.
We in Quraysh never judged people by their intentions.
And what they believe, as long as they do not harm our religion. In this Mecca, the Hanif, the Sabean, the Christian, and the Jew all live as neighbors in safety and peace. I do not think the matter.
As you say, Abbas. If you know more than I do, then speak.
Maybe it's from your brother.
He notices a group of young men from Quraysh around him, trying to seize leadership by the sword. My nephew is not someone who thinks like this, and.
Quraysh has known him as the truthful and trustworthy. Then what is this, Abu Sufyan?
Did we come to talk about the Yemen journey or about my nephew Muhammad? Don't worry, Abbas, don't worry. Abu al-Hakam.
He is the leader of Banu Makhzum, and a chief among Quraysh, so be cautious of him.
So what is left for al-Walid ibn al-Mughira, then, who is an enemy of Quraysh? Makhzum, Rayhana.
Quraysh, and they are equal. And the journey to Yemen, O Abu Sufyan. I am ready for it. You know, Abbas, that I love.
You are a noble, brave, and good man.
See you in good health. Where are you going, O Abu al-Hakam?
The time is good and the table is full. I don't think the matter.
Quraysh will go on happily from now on.
Welcome, Mus'ab.
Please, my brother. O Messenger of Allah.
I have brought you Khalid ibn Sa'id ibn al-As, the son of the owner of the crown.
What does Khalid ibn Sa'id want?
I want to testify that there is no deity except Allah.
And that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ says to you.
May Allah keep you firm upon iman, Khalid.
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. The command of Allah has come, so do not hasten it.
The Exalted is far above what they associate with Him.
He sends down the angels with the spirit by His command to whomever He wills among His servants.
Warn that there is no deity except Me.
So have taqwa of Me. He created.
He created the heavens and the earth in truth. Exalted is He above what they associate with Him.
He created man from a drop, and suddenly he is a clear adversary. And the livestock, He created them for you.
In them is warmth and benefits for you, and from them you eat. And for you in them is beauty when you bring them in and when you take them out to pasture.
And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with great difficulty.
Indeed, your Lord is surely Forgiving, Merciful. He is the One who sends down water from the sky.
From it you drink, and from it grow trees in which you pasture your animals. With it He causes crops to grow for you, and olives, and date palms, and grapes, and all kinds of fruits.
In that is a sign for people who reflect.
And He has subjected for you the night and the day, the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command.
In that are signs for people who use reason.
And whatever He has created for you on the earth of varying colors—indeed, in that is a sign for people who remember.
And He is the One who subjected the sea so that you may eat from it tender meat and extract from it ornaments that you wear.
And you see the ships plowing through it, so that you may seek of His bounty and perhaps you will be grateful.
I thank You. I thank You, my Lord, for guiding me to the straight path.
Peace be upon you and mercy.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
Why are you laughing at us, young men of Quraysh?
What are you doing? What are we doing.
We are praying, worshipping Allah alone, while you wander blindly in your misguidance.
What did you do, Sa'd?
What did you do when you were not commanded?
But I was defending my religion.
Sa'd. But Sa'd, we were praying, and they surprised us.
The situation escalated, I struck one of them and threw him down.
This is the first blood to be shed in Islam. Yes. Indeed, Abu Sufyan, I came to you since the morning, you came to talk to me about the topic of Abu al-Hakam yesterday.
Yes. And I think he only came to reopen an old wound and stir up feelings that had calmed down.
And besides, cousin, son of Abd Manaf, we are from the same house.
And Abd Manaf is the highest peak of Quraysh.
Don't worry, cousin, but.
If what he brought is true, it is a serious matter.
Abu al-Hakam only came to widen the rift among the sons of Abd Manaf, between Umayyah and Hashim.
Perhaps through this, he seeks to attain leadership over Quraysh. This is his habit, and this is the extent of his hope. How can this be, when we are in Quraysh?
We are all closely related. The matter is with you, my cousin.
If your nephew is gathering people around him.
For a matter that is yet to come. We have only known good from Muhammad, so why, Abu Sufyan, are you whispering and consulting among yourselves?
Wait, Abu Sufyan. Abu al-Hakam wants the leadership of Quraysh by turning its allies against each other. No, he will not have that.
But no one in Quraysh denies his position.
I did not say this, but leadership is with Abd Manaf, not with Makhzum, so do not take it from other than its rightful place, O Abu Sufyan.
Take it easy, Abbas, don't worry, don't worry.
Have you prepared your trade caravan to Yemen? I hope for abundant profit from Allah.
I mean my cousin. I mean Abbas, yes, I mean.
And warn your closest relatives.
And lower your wing to those of the believers who follow you.
But if they disobey you, then say: I am free from what you do.
