And they do not stop each other from wrongdoing they commit.
The believer, male or female, must be cautious, yes.
May Allah bless you. Here the questioner says: Honorable Shaykh, peace and mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you. After that, I love you for the sake of Allah.
I call Allah to witness what is in my heart, and I come to you with this question: I used to be an outstanding student in my studies.
And during this semester, Allah increased my eagerness for matters of my religion, so I started attending study circles.
And I make sure to attend seminars and lectures, and I read many beneficial books.
And this is something I thank Allah for, but on the other hand, my academic performance has become the double of what it was before, so the devil and my own self began trying to convince me that the reason for this is my turning towards the path of obedience.
And I am afraid to give in to what my soul desires, so what is your advice? May Allah reward you with good. First, may Allah love you as you have loved us.
And we ask the Exalted to make us, you, and all our brothers among those who love us for the sake of Allah's majesty. Allah, Verheven en Hoog is Hij, said, Allah says, the Prophet ﷺ said: Allah will say on the Day of Judgment.
Those who love each other for My majesty, today I will shade them in My shade on a day when there is no shade but My shade.
Reported by Muslim in his Sahih, it is in both Sahihs, the Prophet ﷺ said: Seven will be shaded by Allah in His shade.
A just leader, a young man who grows up worshipping Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, and two men who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting for that and parting for that.
A man who is called by a woman of status and beauty, and he says: I fear Allah.
A man who gives charity and conceals it so that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives, and a man who remembers Allah in private and his eyes overflow with tears.
As for what Allah has given you of goodness, and your attendance at circles of knowledge, and obedience to Allah the Mighty and Majestic, and reviewing your lessons.
These are among the blessings of Allah upon you, and this is great good. We praise Allah for it, thank Allah for it, and we should hold on to this great good. Yet,
Preserve the times that help you with your studies and help you excel in your academic level. Combine both benefits, strive in this and in that.
So set aside times that help you focus on your lessons.
So that you may be granted success by Allah's will, and at the same time, you also take care to obey Allah and fulfill what Allah has made obligatory upon you, avoid what Allah has forbidden you, keep the company of good people, and so on.
This does not contradict that; rather, it helps with it. Obedience to Allah helps you do good, and is one of the reasons for Allah's success for you, so that you achieve even greater success if you do what you are able.
In taking care of your lessons and reviewing them, and at the same time, that you are keen on.
Yes, may Allah reward you, and on avoiding what Allah has forbidden you, and on taking care of the means to goodness and salvation, yes.
