As for creation, dominion, comprehensive knowledge, and subtlety, the Quranic text depicts its scope in a wondrous illustrative way, occupying the heart with following it in this vast domain, imagining it in its movements, always in motion, never still.

And this is not something abstract that knowledge hates as a mere abstraction; it is something influential and inspiring, filling the depths of the soul and occupying the feelings of the heart, as we are captivated by the brilliance of images and the steadfastness of imagination.

He is the First and the Last, the First with nothing before Him.

The Manifest with nothing after Him, and the Hidden with nothing beyond Him. The First and the Last encompass the entire reality of time, and the Manifest and the Hidden encompass the entire reality of place, so both are absolute.

The heart of the human is humbled, finding no existence for anything except for Allah. All the elements of existence are established for Him alone, even the existence of this very heart.

It is only realized by drawing from the existence of Allah. This divine existence is the true existence from which everything derives its being. This reality is the primary reality.

Everything draws its true reality from it, and there is no essential reality or independent existence for anything in this existence beyond it.
