The fetus died in her womb at six months, she says it was not washed, not shrouded, and no prayer was performed over it.
What is the ruling on that? If it is certain that the soul had been breathed into the fetus while it was in her womb.
Then what applies to other deceased also applies to it, and the scholars agree on this, may Allah have mercy on them, that if the child is born showing signs of life.
Born showing signs of life, or it is certain that he was alive.
Even if, for example, he died during delivery, or during surgery, or if the doctors caused his death in his mother's womb, then in that case the rest of the rulings for the deceased apply.
Such as the obligation to wash him, and also to pray over him. A group of scholars have reported consensus on this.
Like Ibn Abd al-Barr, and also al-Mundhir and other scholars, they agreed that the child is washed and the funeral prayer is performed for him if he is born alive and cries.
Also, the rulings of shrouding apply to him, as well as burial and the related rulings.
As for her action, that she says about the fetus that
nothing was done for him, he was not washed, he was not shrouded, the funeral prayer was not performed for him, and perhaps some even neglect to bury him.
And they throw him away, so we say regarding this: this is not allowed and it is a sin.
And it is sinful, so as long as this has happened, she must repent and seek forgiveness. And is there also a consequence regarding the 'aqiqah? We say: if the soul has been breathed into him.
And he was born alive, then according to those who say the 'aqiqah is obligatory, it becomes obligatory, and according to those who consider it recommended, it remains recommended, and it is connected to that.
But if he died in his mother's womb and was not born alive, then there is no 'aqiqah for him, nor is 'aqiqah required, so in that case we say.
If she fell short in not washing and shrouding, then she is at fault in that, and she should seek forgiveness and repent, and there is nothing else required of her. Allah knows best.
