The second congregation is permissible, especially if the mosque is in a marketplace.
Or a mosque on a travel route, this is very normal. A group leaves and another comes, a group leaves and another comes, this is very normal. But if it is the mosques of the town, the neighborhood mosques,
the basic rule is that a second congregation should not be held in these mosques, but if it is held, there is no harm.
If a second congregation is held, there is no harm, and Anas entered the mosque.
may Allah be pleased with him, with his companions, after the prayer had been completed.
He ordered one of them to give the call to prayer, then he led them in prayer as a congregation.
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, that he came with Masruq and.
I think Ibrahim or Alqama, and he entered the mosque after the prayer had been completed, so he left and went and led them in prayer at his house.
So the matter is permissible, insha'Allah, it is allowed to establish a second congregation.
And it is allowed for them to go back and pray in their homes, and Al-Hasan Al-Basri used to say: The sahaba of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when they entered and the prayer had been completed, would pray individually.
Meaning, they would not establish a second congregation, especially if this second congregation was repeated.
Especially when we say it is the same imam, for example, or the same group.
The imam here is the original imam of the mosque.
He might feel upset, why aren't they praying behind me? I remember I once entered one of the mosques.
After we prayed, there was another group prayer.
Later, I prayed again in the same mosque.
And it was almost the same group, because I recognized the imam, the same imam led the prayer, and those behind him were almost the same, I remember we were the same people.
So I asked one of the regular attendees, I said to him: Can you believe it's the same people twice? He said: Every obligatory prayer.
If he says every obligatory prayer, they come late and pray in congregation.
Again, except for Fajr. Why did he say not on the day of Fajr?
So imagine, these people are doing this on purpose.
That they pray a second congregation, maybe they do not want to pray behind him.
This imam, this is absolutely not allowed. The purpose of the congregation is to unite the hearts.
And by doing this, they are dividing the hearts, so it is never appropriate. But if it just happened like that, there is no problem. You are allowed to pray a second congregation, and you are allowed to pray.
