Peace be upon you, sheikh. What is your opinion on women's garments that are embroidered?
They have decorations on the hands, on the palms, and underneath, at the bottom.
What do you think, sheikh? I believe it is better for women to stick to the previous abaya, because it is more covering and further from fitna.
As for the garments that have appeared recently.
If they do not have embroidery that attracts attention, or hanging threads,
then I hope there is nothing wrong with them.
Even though, by Allah, I find it heavy on myself to say such words.
There is nothing wrong with it, but I fear it may open the door to a greater evil, because women, as you know,
move from what is easier to what is above it, and then when the tear widens, the one patching it becomes unable to fix it.
But I cannot forbid something that I do not see as problematic from a religious perspective, except that I say it is better to stick to what we used to do before.
Because it is closer to following the predecessors and the women of the sahaba, and further from fitna, and more.
more effective in blocking the door to evil and corruption.
