May Allah reward you with goodness. Nawal Abdullah sent this fax a short while ago about eyebrow bleaching for women, and about shortening and combining prayers during travel.

There has been a fatwa issued regarding eyebrow bleaching.

From the Permanent Committee for Fatwa, prohibiting it.

So it is not permissible for a woman to tamper with her eyebrows.

Rather, she should leave them as Allah the Mighty and Majestic created them.

And she should not touch them.

As for combining and shortening the prayers during travel, they are a concession.

For the traveler, if his journey is eighty kilometers or more.

He is allowed to combine and shorten the prayers on the way, going and returning, yes.
