You must provide for your wife even if she works, even if she is wealthy, even if so. As for the children, no, if they work.

If they are financially sufficient, you are not required to spend on them.

If the father and mother have enough for themselves, you are also not required to spend on them. But for the wife, you must spend on her in any case.

You must spend on her, and that is why the scholars say: the wife is the most deserving of your spending in this regard.

But if the father or mother is in need, then yes, here the mother and father take precedence.

If the children are in need, yes, then you look at the situation. If the father is giving and the father is not in need.

And at the same time, he prevents the children or the wife, this is not allowed.

If he is preventing them from necessary things, but if, by Allah, he gives to his father and does not neglect his wife and children, this is a trivial matter, the father has more right here.

If this is what is meant, because some women exaggerate.

In this matter, some people have called me.

She says his salary is, for example, one thousand five hundred.

And every month he gives his father three hundred, and she says, "We have more right to this money." No, you do not have more right to it. Of course, he spends on you and gives you your due, but to prevent him from giving to his father, this is not correct.

He does not give to his father and does not pay attention to him, and gives to his mother and does not pay attention to his wife, but if, even if they are not in need, but if the money is little.

And he falls short in fulfilling the rights of his wife or his children, here we say yes, these are more deserving.

Than giving your father just to show kindness to him, so the matter is, if it is like this, then this is the answer, and Allah knows best.
