Rumors are a disaster, rumors are a disaster. As we mentioned a little while ago, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: When there comes to them some matter of security or fear, they spread it.

But if they had referred it to the Messenger and those in authority among them, those who can draw correct conclusions would have known about it. This is the principle.

It is not permissible for us to spread rumors and to circulate them among people and make them public.

Praise be to Allah, there is a leader who makes such decisions. But spreading these rumors on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, or elsewhere only confuses people.

And these matters, like the issue of fighting, we ask Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, to protect our country and all Muslim lands.

Because these matters are not to be taken lightly.

These matters are serious; lives could be lost. I mean fighting, if it happens.

There are lives at stake, so a person should not seek out fighting. But if fighting happens, and you meet them.

Stand firm. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not wish to meet the enemy, but if you meet them, stand firm. We ask Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, to grant safety and well-being to us and to you.
