About saying takbir after the five daily prayers during the days of tashreeq.
Is it obligatory or recommended?
And if that is obligatory or recommended.
Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it, or is it from the actions of the sahaba, may Allah be pleased with them?
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. All praise is due to Allah, and may Allah's peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who follow his guidance. To proceed,
Saying takbir during the days of tashreeq.
After the prayers, it is preserved.
Among the sahaba, may Allah be pleased with them.
Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, and a group of the sahaba.
Even if it is from the Prophet ﷺ, but its chain has some weakness.
And likewise, completing it during the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah from the beginning.
All of it is prescribed.
And may Allah be pleased with them.
And Ibn Umar and Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him.
They used to go out to the market on the days of Eid and say takbir.
And they would remind people of us.
And the sahaba, may Allah be pleased with them, were a group.
After the five prayers.
From the Day of Arafah until the end of the Days of Tashreeq.
And Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, used to say the takbeer in.
Mina so that people would hear him and say the takbeer as he did.
So the takbeer is prescribed, not obligatory, but it is a sunnah.
On the Day of Arafah.
And the Day of Sacrifice and the Days of Tashreeq.
General and specific, after the prayers it is specific.
During the day and night.
As for the eighth day and what comes after it, and what came before it in the month of Dhul-Hijjah.
It is prescribed to say the takbir in a general way, not restricted to the prayers but general.
From the beginning of the migration until the end.
The night of the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah.
This is unrestricted; a person makes takbir on the road and at home.
And on his bed.
And likewise in the last days, on the Day of Arafah and after it.
The Muslims were on the road and in the mosques.
And in the markets.
And four of the five prayers in.
The last pilgrimage is on the Day of Arafah and after it, and what is agreed upon is that it is only sunnah. He asks about its wording, if you please. The wording is: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illa Allah.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illa Allah. And some of the sahaba would say it in odd numbers: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illa Allah.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, all of it is good.
Whether in even or odd numbers.
And so, Allahu Akbar kabira, and praise be to Allah in abundance.
And Subhan Allah wa bihamdih is also authentic. All of this is reported.
Regarding the excuses of the sahaba, and the valid excuses from the Prophet, peace be upon him. As for the takbir in the mosques, should one person say the takbir and the people repeat after him? Everyone says the takbir according to his own situation.
This is not collective takbir, this one says the takbir and that one says the takbir, it is not collective takbir.
The well-known gathering, everyone says the takbir according to his own situation.
And if his voice overlaps with his brother's voice, that does not harm. But as for organizing the takbir from beginning to end, all starting together and all finishing together.
