Abu Muhammad from Saudi Arabia is disabled, regarding what he suffers.
He says he does not pray, he cannot pray except at home. He asked about the ruling on his prayer at home, and how he should pray, because sometimes he prays on the bed.
We say regarding him, if he is disabled and cannot go to the mosque by himself, then we say he should pray at home and there is no blame on him.
That is because Allah the Mighty and Majestic says: Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity, and Allah, Verheven en Hoog is Hij, says: So fear Allah as much as you are able, and likewise the Prophet ﷺ says: If I command you.
with a command, then do of it what you are able. The command is according to one's ability and capacity.
So in his case, if he is disabled and cannot go by himself or reach the mosque, we say his prayer at home is valid.
And it is complete by the permission of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with good intention and good performance, so he will receive the reward of the congregation.
And the Prophet ﷺ says, as it came in the narration of Abu Musa: If the servant becomes ill or travels, Allah writes for him what he used to do when he was healthy and resident.
So his reward, by the permission of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is complete. As for.
If a person is able to come to the mosque with the help of others, such as being carried or pushed in a wheelchair or the like, is it better for him to pray in the mosque or to pray at home?
We say, if he prays at home, his reward is complete, because he is only able to pray with the help of others, since everyone is able to perform worship with the help of others.
That is, he is carried, like those who are carried on shoulders even if they cannot move at all.
Based on this, we say that this matter does not mean that the virtue of coming to the mosque is lost, or that he would not receive that reward if he came to the mosque to attend the gathering.
The gathering of Muslims and remembrance is good, and if he does not come, we do not say that his reward is less; rather, his reward in that is complete.
By the permission of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and he seeks the reward from Allah, and a person is given what he intended if he is sincere and truthful, and Allah knows best.
