Some women say: I want to take pills to prevent pregnancy.

So that my child can complete breastfeeding, is there anything wrong with that?

First, may Allah bless you, the pills for pregnancy, meaning birth control pills.

I have heard from several doctors that they are harmful.

And even if we did not know this from the doctors, we know it from our own experience.

Because preventing the natural thing that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, created.

And decreed for the daughters of Adam, there is no doubt that it is harmful.

Allah is Wise, the Mighty and Majestic, He did not make this blood.

To be released by the veins at a specific time and in a specific way except for a wisdom.

So when we prevent it with these medications.

There is harm in that, no doubt, but I have learned that the matter is even more than we imagine.

And it may be a cause of damage to the womb.

And a cause of deformity, the deformity of the fetus.

And a cause of neurological diseases.

All of this requires caution regarding it.

And there are methods for contraception that are easier than this.

But it still requires consideration.

A second level or a second degree, is it recommended?

That we reduce childbirth.

The answer is no. The more offspring, the better.

Especially now, I mean at a time when we should increase.

The offspring of the Salafi umma.

So that people may be forgiven.

This worldly matter is not about luxury.

A person fears the kind of luxury that goes against the Sharia.

That it will be said about him on the Day of Judgment: they were living in luxury before this.

Do not think that everything is comfort in this world; this world is just an enjoyment.

And a woman must endure hardship; his mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, his mother carried him through weakness upon weakness.

So I do not see that we should ever reduce the number of children; rather, we should have sabr and seek reward from Allah.

And Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, helps a person according to the help he seeks.

But sometimes the woman is ill and cannot bear pregnancy every year.

In that case, there is no problem.

Meaning, being pregnant every year, either by means of withdrawal,

which was practiced by the sahaba,

or by another method.

By consulting doctors. Then, a woman is not allowed to use anything that prevents pregnancy at all except with her husband's approval.

The wife has a right to children.
