What is the ruling on watching plays or performances shown in videos or cinema, or similar things, especially.
It is well known that in those performances there are many women who are immodestly dressed.
On television or in movies, there are indecent images of women.
Or of men who are not covered, or of acts of immorality, or of some evil deeds; all of this is not allowed, so it is not permissible for a Muslim to watch images of women.
Who are not covered and not.
Of those who are naked, nor images of men who have uncovered their thighs or.
They play with what Allah has forbidden, like gambling, or
with amusement, musical instruments, or they engage in forbidden singing. All of this must be avoided and one must beware of it, because these are evil things and watching them is not allowed.
And because watching them may also lead to doing them and approving of them, so a believer should protect himself from that.
Only what is beneficial should be watched on television, like watching scientific or industrial seminars, or anything else that benefits the viewer.
But watching forbidden things is not allowed. May Allah bless you.
He says: I am eighteen years old, and I started prayer this year.
But when I walk on the street, I look at the girls.
The ones I see on the street, is this allowed for me? Please advise me, may Allah benefit you.
First, you are not allowed to delay the prayer until ten o'clock. You must pray from the time you reached maturity.
This is one thing, but the preferred opinion with us is that you do not have to make up the missed prayers now. Rather, correct your actions, repent to your Lord, and seek forgiveness for your sin.
As for looking at girls, this is not allowed.
Rather, you must lower your gaze.
Allah the Exalted said: Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their private parts; that is purer for them.
Allah is well aware of what you do. And know that whenever you let your soul follow its desires by looking at women,
you will never find peace, and your mind will never be at ease.
You will always be the subject of the devil's whispers.
And you will be struck by one of his poisoned arrows, and perhaps this arrow will reach you.
Until you fall into a great forbidden act.
As mentioned in the narration, the eyes commit zina, and their zina is looking.
And a person either believes this or denies it, and he might fall into the greater sin.
