In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, and prayers upon the Messenger of Allah. Honorable sheikh, some women dance and sing at weddings. Is this permissible or not? May Allah reward you with good.

What I see is that women should be prevented from dancing.

Because in that,

there is fitna.

At first, I used to be more lenient about this, but incidents were reported to me

that require me to say it should be prevented, that dancing should be prevented.

At celebrations, it is enough to use the duff.

Along with pure, wholesome singing, because that is from the sunnah.
