He says that he sold livestock on credit for a week, and the contract was written, but after a week this man disappeared.
Then his brother showed up after six months and started bargaining and negotiating, saying, "I'll give you half the amount," and so on.
Now he wants advice and guidance from you. He asks: are the goods still with him or were they taken from him? No, they were taken.
He took them himself. And did he receive his money or not? Now they say, "We'll give you half and you give up the other half," they want to give him fifty. And he has his right, or his due.
If he is a thief, he should be held accountable for that.
If he is not of that type, but rather influential or something like that.
It is waived for him. He says: I know that he has money. He says: I hear that he has business, buying and selling, and so on. He has the right in both cases: he has the right to waive whatever he wants, and he has the right to take all his money.
And the matter goes back to him. If he is a thief or a robber, he disciplines him. Yes, may Allah reward you, sheikh.
