The following message was received by the program from Kenya.
Its sender is our brother, the student Ibrahim Muhammad Awal.
Our brother says: I listened to the program Noor 'ala al-Darb.
I benefited from it greatly, and I wanted to send you these questions because their topics have confused me a lot.
The first question: Is the earth spherical or flat?
The earth is spherical according to the people of knowledge. This was said by the people of the group and others.
There is consensus among the scholars that it is spherical.
This means it is organized, its parts are connected to each other.
But Allah made its surface accessible for us, and placed on it the firm mountains.
And animals and seas, and we are as a structure.
That is why He said: "And when the earth is stripped away," meaning it will be demolished.
What is apparent to us is that people live on it and feel secure on it.
The earth being spherical does not prevent glorifying Allah on it.
Because you are great and mighty, you do not comprehend.
