If a woman marries a man, and this man travels to another country and is absent from her for years, and this woman does not know whether her husband is alive or dead,

should she divorce him or wait for him?

She has the choice: if she wishes, she can take the case to court and request annulment.

She can annul the marriage, or if she wishes, she can remain

with him until the matter becomes clear.
