The way to get rid of obsessive-compulsive whispers.
As for waswas, we say that this waswas is in aspects of worship—it seems he means in aspects of worship, because waswas is of different types.
Some of it is related to worship, and some of it is related to certain issues, for example, in matters.
Of purity, and also in words and intention, which also concerns some people.
He says, "I have waswas in my dealings with others," and the way of excessive doubt is that a person, for example, has waswas in his dealings: Is so-and-so angry with him or pleased with him?
And he talks about things that reach the level of waswas, so we say that what concerns these aspects, a person should deal with them in the opposite way.
On the other hand, waswasa is going beyond the stage of precaution.
A person wants to be cautious, but then moves into another area, which is forbidden and blameworthy.
He should reduce the doors of precaution, he should reduce the doors of precaution or distance himself from aspects of precaution until it becomes double.
As for waswasa, for example, in his wudu, a person performs wudu with the minimum required and avoids extra precaution.
Also, among the ways a person can treat waswasa is to appoint someone to observe him in some actions where he experiences waswasa, such as in prayer.
A person might say the takbir ten times, thinking he didn't say it the first time, and this is going beyond precaution into the stage of waswasa.
For example, he should have someone who, if he says the takbir once, reminds him that, for example, in the sunnah, at home, or during wudu.
If a person performs wudu, someone should monitor him in that, even if it's two, three, or four times, then he moves past this stage. This is one of the things. Also, some people are driven to waswasa.
Fear that the act of worship is invalid or that he is sinful because of it.
So what is obligatory for him? He must increase his knowledge.
Knowledge of excessiveness in that act of worship in terms of being too strict in it. For example, if you say more than one takbir, you fall into bid'a and become sinful.
So he should be presented with these texts often. That is why some people recite al-Fatiha ten times, saying, "I didn't recite it." To recite more than one pillar, and if you tell him that this is repeating the pillar more than once, and there is an opinion.
According to some, the prayer is invalid because he performed a pillar twice, like someone who does two or three bowings, for example.
Or something similar, and he is strict about this, as if he traps himself between the two matters. These are also things that help a person to leave waswas, and Allah knows best. There is more detail, sheikh, but let's give it a better space.
