The barzakh life is the life that begins from the questioning by the two angels after the soul of a person is taken, then the questioning by the two angels, and what follows of bliss or punishment that happens to a person in that stage.

Then Allah the Mighty and Majestic, after that, when He commands people to come out of their graves.

Likewise, Allah the Mighty and Majestic sends down water like the seminal fluid of men, then those bodies grow. What is between these two stages is the barzakh life.
