He says: I am a young man, and all praise is due to Allah, Allah has blessed me with repentance, and I have started to pray and follow the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
But after that, I started spending a lot of time alone, and the sins I commit in private began to trouble me.
There are times when I am committed and feel that the shaytan has stayed away from me, but as soon as I sin,
I feel sad and that my deeds have been destroyed, and that I have to start over. No, this is from the shaytan of course, the shaytan tries to make you sad.
And you are wrong if you have sins in private, do not stay alone.
Do not be alone with yourself. Try as much as you can not to remain alone.
Mix with your family, your wife, your children, your friends. Do not sit alone so that the shaytan does not single you out.
These sins will come to you, so a person should have taqwa of Allah the Blessed and Exalted, and thank Allah for the blessing of repentance.
Remain steadfast in it and keep making du'a. Be committed to du'a, asking Allah the Blessed and Exalted to keep you firm and guide you.
And to keep the shaytan and his evil away from you. Stick to the morning and evening adhkar; there is great benefit in them.
