When does the time for the night prayer end?
Whoever prays, when the night reaches its halfway point, that is the end.
The time for the night prayer is until the middle of the night.
From Abdullah ibn Amr, he said: The time for the night prayer is until the middle of the night.
I said: The length of the night differs. So if the night is ten hours, after five hours it ends.
And if the night is twelve hours, after six hours.
Is it permissible for the believer to delay the prayer until after the halfway point? He should pray before the halfway point.
And it is obligatory to pray in congregation, except for those who have an excuse, like the sick person or the woman.
They are not allowed to delay it until after the prayer.
