When should you recite soera al-Kahf? Is it before or after the 'isha prayer on Thursday?
Some scholars believe that the soera should be recited on Friday or the night of Friday.
The night of Friday begins after maghrib, after maghrib on Thursday.
The night of Friday begins, and the whole day of Friday, and some scholars believe that reciting al-Kahf can be done throughout the whole week.
Throughout the whole week, meaning Friday does not mean the day of Friday, but Friday refers to the week, as the Prophet ﷺ said about the Dajjal.
His stay is forty days: a day like a year, a day like a month, and a day like a week.
That means seven days, and the rest of his days are like your days.
And the closest opinion is that you recite it during the whole week. If Thursday and Friday pass and you haven't recited it, recite it on Saturday.
If Sunday passes and you have work or something, recite it on Wednesday before the week starts, meaning, if there is no time, inshaAllah.
