Some women, may Allah guide them, wear the abaya on the shoulders.
Even though there are men present or nearby where men live, give us a ruling on wearing the abaya on the shoulders, may Allah reward you.
It is obligatory to wear it on the head, as is the custom of women.
As for visiting others like this, it is not allowed. It resembles men and gives the impression that she is a man, so this is never allowed.
She must cover the abaya over her head with caution and modesty.
